Search engine giant, Google, is out with a wearable technology known as Google Glass. In simple term, Google Glass is a spectacle that integrates the functions of your phones. Camera, touchpad, battery and microphone are built into the frame of the device. This device next to your eye-brow takes pictures, record moments, and displays them all in your eyeball without obstructing your view.
What the device can do:
1- When synchronized with a Google Map enabled GPS phone, the device displays direction like a vision in front of your eye-ball.
2- Your phone messages are displayed in front of you. You can also scroll through text messages with your eye and send text using its voice-to-text facility.
3- The device can take pictures and record your moments effortlessly, i.e., the device is seeing everything you are seeing.

It will interest you that some developers are developing apps that will enable you to identify your friend(s) in a crowd. Device specifications are: 640 x 360 displays, 5MP camera that can film at 720p, 16GB in-built memory.
The device is expected to be available for mass consumption by the end of 2013. Developer version cost $1500 but it will be cheaper when fully launched.
