Syrian Electronic Army struck President Obama's official Twitter account with unathorised tweets sent from his Twitter@BarrackObama account. The hackers were able to redirect links sent out by members of organizers for Action to SEA links and an unathorised messages posted to his fan page with links to SEA YouTube content. Inbox screenshot of Obama's campaign Gmail account was posted to his page due to the illegal access by the hackers.
The source of this damage has been traced to a third-party URL. However, Obama's twitter handle account has been suspended until further notice.
