Few days ago, HTC launched their fingerprint enabled smartphone, HTC Max. Apparently, this is the first Android phone to be enabled with this feature. The smartphone comes with a 5.9 inch display, which is an enlarged version of the original HTC One. This smartphone runs on Android 4.3.
Just like the recently announced iPhone 5s, the fingerprint feature allows user to unlock phone with just a swipe. Very soon, internet purchases would be authenticated using this feature.
Its onboard storage of 16Gb or 32GB is expandable up to 64GB more via microSD. This is a feature that was missing on the HTC One and on the One X. The One Max sticks with a Snapdragon 600 (with 2GB of RAM) for processing, rather than the superior Snapdragon 800 used in rival devices like the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
