Gadget Usage Policy to be adopted by European Aviation


Very soon, fliers from Europe will also benefit from the new development where the usage of gadgets will be permitted during flight. Just few weeks ago, it was announced that airlines in US will soon be allowing their passengers use their gadgets such as laptops, mobile phones, e-reader while flying. European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has also accepted the policy which is expected to kick-start by the end of November 2013. During taxing, taking off, and landing, air passengers will have access to their devices in airplane mode. Voice calls remain banned.
